2022 Updates
2022 editions will be available in English for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Primary and in Spanish for Kindergarten and Primary. Conciencia fonológica: Preescolar 2021 is available now.
You'll find the following revisions in our new curriculum editions:
- QR codes directly link teachers from the weekly summary page to lesson videos and other supportive resources, enabling easy access to professional development and further supporting a fidelity implementation of the curriculum.
- Explicit teacher language better enables teachers to support all students' development.
- The new Skill Focus can be shared as an explanation for each skill or task when teaching the lessons.
- Overview pages support teachers with changes and shifts that take place throughout the weekly lessons.
- A revised scope and sequence get primary students working at the phoneme level sooner.
- Optional weeks for review or intervention have been included for some skills after 24-weeks of Tier 1 instruction is provided. (Primary only)

Yes! Digital editions of our 2020 curriculum, and all supportive resources, will continue to be available via myHeggerty. We will also continue to provide professional development options for teachers using our 2020 curriculum editions.
We are now accepting pre-orders for the 2022 editions, however, the new editions will not be released digitally or begin to ship until June 2022. If you would like to receive books before June 2022, we recommend our 2020 editions which provide the same core Heggerty phonemic awareness methodology that can be found in the new editions. Support resources and videos for the 2020 edition will continue to be available via myHeggerty.
A QR code is a type of barcode that is largely recognized by most smartphones - including every iPhone running iOS 11 or later and all Android phones running Android 9 or later. To use this feature, open your smartphone camera app and aim the lens at the QR code. Your phone should recognize the QR code and prompt you to click a link, directing you to the respective webpage.
Yes. The 2022 editions of the print curriculum for all Tier 1 grade levels will increase from $79.99 to $89.
Starting June 1, 2022, our digital curriculum product will be combined with the existing myHeggerty digital support product to create a new all-in-one digital hub, called myHeggerty. The annual subscription price of myHeggerty will be $89 reflecting the combination of the existing myHeggerty product ($39.99/year) and digital curriculum ($49.99/yr).
- For the same price, the new myHeggerty digital hub will provide subscribers with access to digital curriculum, lesson videos, and more for ALL of our Tier 1 grade levels including Pre-K through Primary in both English and Spanish and Early Pre-K and Primary Extension in English—a total value of more than $474!
- We are offering all active digital subscribers who purchased myHeggerty prior to March 10, 2022, a one-year transition price of $65, reflected on their first renewal date after June 1, 2022, before increasing to the full price of $89/year.
