Face-to-face instruction is preferred but having access to pre-recorded materials is a must to keep instructional consistent.

The videos are top grade. I have had transmission issues when I show the videos at 9am to my distance learners thru the platform Microsoft Teams. The children at home complain that the video lags or their screen freezes. Fortunately, all students are returning to the classroom in one week and I will not have to use Teams to show the Heggerty videos. I reached out to Heggerty who suggested I lower the pixels to assist in transmission, and it did for some students but not all. Still, I am excited to show these lessons very soon to an in person class.

I love having these videos to use in my classroom. At the beginning of the year I thought it was best to do the Heggerty lessons on my own and make my own videos for remote learners. The students need to see mouth formation to make and hear the sounds correctly. These videos allow that to happen.
