Lauren Walsh is a certified literacy specialist who has had the honor of working as a kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade teacher, reading intervention specialist, literacy and language coach, and adjunct assistant professor. Currently Lauren is working as a Literacy Specialist for Heggerty Phonemic Awareness and as an Integrated Literacy Facilitator for AIM Institute’s Pathways to Proficient Reading. She is also a certified dance fitness instructor and has a passion to engage students through performance and movement to get them excited about the essential components of reading. She lives in Agoura Hills, CA with her husband and their two daughters who love dance parties and "reading with their ears" as much as she does.
